Gripes over the flash of Jackson's breast last Sunday easily eclipsed the FCC's previous record -- 80,000 complaints that came after television actress Nicole Richie used a curse word on the 2003 Billboard Music Awards, the agency said. More here

CHICAGO (Reuters) - A Tennessee woman has sued Janet Jackson (news) and others involved in her breast-baring Super Bowl halftime show, saying millions of people are owed monetary damages for exposure to lewd conduct, court records showed on Friday.
The suit, filed earlier this week in federal court in Knoxville, Tennessee, also names pop star Justin Timberlake (news), who performed with Jackson, CBS Broadcasting Inc., show producer MTV Networks Enterprises Inc., and the parent of those two companies, Viacom Inc. .

House Of The Dead
I couldn't help myself, even though I'd read and seen all the horrible reviews I rented House of the Dead last night.
The film is in the so bad it's good category for sure. The monotone voiceover at the start, a rave in the middle of nowhere sponsored by Sega with only 15 people in attendance and random video game images inserted into the film..not to mention the Matrix ripoff bullet time slo-mo that looks like it was filmed just to have something interesting for the trailer. Jurgen Prochnow shows up to collect his paycheque and Clint Howard, no stranger to cruddy B movies, hams it up. Anyway if you're a lover of bad movies House of the Dead is for you.

MTV Feels "Punk'd" By Janet Jackson
Saw a promo last night for the Grammy's this coming weekend 'Don't miss the shocking first minutes,' or something was part of it. It's good to see CBS now milking a potential ratings cash cow. Jackson's rather pathetic attempt to get back into the limelight seems to have worked amazingly well, going to be hard for Britney or Christina to top it.
Anyway, we roll into day 4 of Nippelgate and last night Janet Jackson took full Responsibility for the incident via VideoTape.
"I am really sorry if I offended anyone. That was truly not my intention," she said. "My decision to change the Super Bowl performance was actually made after the final rehearsal. MTV, CBS, the NFL had no knowledge of this whatsoever, and unfortunately, the whole thing went wrong in the end."
MTV boss Tom Freston, whose network produced the halftime show, bitterly complained about being "punk'd" by Janet Jackson, and Federal Communications Commission chief Michael Powell said the entire show angered him.

You would think Mr Cent would have better things to do with his time but according to the New York Post he allegedly drove up to a video shoot in Queens yesterday and hinted that he was going to fire a gun.
Detectives allege the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, allegedly pulled up to a GF Records video shoot at Guy Brewer Boulevard in Queen's at 3.15pm, got out of the car and threatened to fire a gun.
"What up? You ready for this?" 50 Cent allegedly said as he extended his empty hand and motioned like he was shooting a gun, according to the document.
Timberlake & MTV Apologise Over 'Wardrobe Malfunction'
I think anybody over the age of 3 who witnessed yesterdays spectacle of Janet Jackson's breast been exposed by Justin Timberlake would agree it was well planned stunt, but apparently while Jackson herself remains quiet, Justin Timberlake and MTV yesterday both denied it was intentional and apologised for the spectacle.
I'm sorry if anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."
Music television channel MTV, which produced the half-time entertainment for the National Football League's championship game, apologised for the undressing.
"The tearing of Janet Jackson's costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance," MTV said in a statement.
The NFL blamed MTV.
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show," said NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne.
"They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show," he added. "It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

CBS Quickly Cover Their Ass After The Janet Jackson Breast Exposure
NEW YORK (AP) -- CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's top, exposing her breast.
"CBS deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman Leslie Anne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show.
The two singers were performing a flirtatious duet to end the halftime show, and at the song's finish, Timberlake reached across Jackson's leather gladiator outfit and pulled off the covering to her right breast.
The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air.

Amazingly 'You Got Served' scores $16 million from the weekend box office. Meanwhile the Own Wilson comic crime caper "The Big Bounce" bombed with $3.3 million, finishing at No. 12
Many of last week's key Academy Awards nominees got a boost at the box office as audiences began catching up with contenders before the Feb. 29 Oscar ceremony.
"The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," the leader with 11 nominations and the front-runner for best picture, held up strongly with $5.3 million, raising its domestic total to $345.3 million.
That makes it the top-grossing installment of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, lifting it past the $341.7 million domestic haul of 2002's "The Two Towers." "Return of the King" also has passed "Finding Nemo" ($339.7 million) to become the highest-grossing movie released in 2003.
Best-picture nominee "Mystic River," which went back into wide release the previous weekend, added a few dozen more theaters and took in $4.4 million, pushing its total to $64.9 million.

Pepsi Commercial with Britney, Beyonce, and Pink Debuts
There were pop stars, cameras and lights, but the excitement wasn't for a movie premiere, it was the world debut of a Pepsi commercial - starring Britney Spears, Beyonce Knowles and Pink.
The trio were at the National Gallery in London's Trafalgar Square Monday for the first screening of the soft drink manufacturer's "New Gladiator" ad, in which they play gladiators and Enrique Iglesias plays an evil Roman emperor.
"To have this premiere is pretty amazing," said Spears, who wore a black coat over her short strapless black evening dress as protection against a deep London chill.
"Filming the ad was awesome, it made me feel empowered and I got to work with these two fantastic gladiator women," she added.
Beyonce wore a fur jacket over her blue gown to walk down the specially laid blue carpet, while Pink wore a black-and-white print gown deeply slit at hem and neckline - and a little black top hat.
The three have reworked the old Queen hit "We Will Rock You" for the ad, and band members Brian May and Roger Taylor also were at the event.
Paris Hilton on lookout for British man.
Lookout all you limey men! Ananova reports Paris Hilton is looking for a British boyfriend who can make her laugh in the latest issue of FHM magazine. She says British men are "sweet", adding: "There are lots of nice guys out there, they're so polite and I love the accent.

Salomon made the offer on January 15 according to court papers obtained by the TheSmokingGun.com, to the disgust of the Hilton family's lawyers.
Mystery Act To Perform At The Superbowl
In just a few hours we'll find out who the mystery act is who will join Janet Jackson, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Kid Rock and Nelly during the Superbowl halftime show.
The halftime production will require 350 local volunteers to haul and assemble 70 pieces of the stage, which spans 120 feet. Then about 2,500 youngsters from area schools will pour onto the field to create a festival concert atmosphere.
Combs said that as big a deal as the halftime show has become, the musicians are just a sideshow.
"This is all about the players," he said. "We're here to fill some time while they get ready for the second half."
